How it all got started
trusserection.co.za was created to fill a void in the timber truss industry.
Needs:
Access
There are currently three major truss systems in South Africa who have licensed approximately 200 truss fabricators throughout South Africa, but there wasnt a cost effective way for the customer to reach them.
Education
No real customer education was available so that the customer could make an informed choice regarding the truss design for his/her new roof. Customers often dont understand the terminology or why they have to pay for roof inspections, or even why its required to obtain a roof inspection.
Questions
Obtaining the correct answers to often resulted in a telephonic relay match, unless you knew who to call, and more often than not this wasnt the case.
Solution:
The creation of trusserection.co.za changed all of this. By providing a central communications point; customers have access to us and all of our members 24/7 via electronic mail, or via our forum that is in the pipeline.
